Why do we like the Easter Bunny when he looks so scary? Seriously.Lots of pictures and lots of bullet points:
- We met up with our friends Elizabeth, Waylon and Jade to go to an Easter Egg hunt in their community. Eliza found 15 eggs but we threw a few back to share with the other kids. We also enjoyed hot dogs, cupcakes, cookies and juice.
- After a dinner of blueberry oatmeal (since we'd already had hot dogs and sweets) we colored Easter eggs and let Eliza put stickers on them.
- We read the story of Christ's resurrection for family scripture time last night and then went to bed.
- The Easter Bunny visited and left Eliza a new church dress so she could look nice for the Sabbath. The Easter Bunny also left a Cabbage Patch doll named Christiana Elyssa (we're calling her baby Christi), a puzzle and a swim suit. She got quite a bit of stuff for Easter but that's because she needed new toys and clothes anyway. With her birthday and Christmas so close together she really only gets one time during the year where she gets new things. I'm sure once we have more children the Easter Bunny will tone down the gift giving. Eliza also did a small egg hunt where she found eggs full of cheerios, raisins and craisins.
- We spent church back with our "home" ward. We have been in the ward for nearly 3 years, but we spent the past 10 months living outside of the area so we're excited to be returning.
- For dinner we had Elizabeth, Waylon and Jade come over and we shared ham with pineapple, spinach salad, rolls, raspberry vanilla jello, twice baked potatoes and chocolate eclairs.

Hmm... Sounds like the Easter Bunny who visits your house is a lot better organized than the one who visits ours. ;)

That easter bunny is creepy! No wonder Eliza doesn't look happy.
