We went to a nearby park for play group on Wednesday where I learned that Eliza can step up and down stairs now without having to crawl. She started out with just climbing up but figured out going down by the time we left.
This is a place we want to visit soon. It's a botanical garden right next to the zoo. I'm not really sure if it's always open, but the building is awesome!
We went to the Baltimore Zoo again this morning. It was another fun day. We went with Jenny and her son, Xander. Eliza liked the little tractors a lot this time and also all of the animals. She made a lot of cute animal sounds, said hi and bye to almost all of the animals and blew kisses too. Today we saw giraffes, elephants, chimpanzees, leopards, gazelles, birds, penguins, bats, otters, and a big black snake. The snake was not in a cage; it slithered right across the sidewalk in front of us.

ooooo! Xander is adorable!! Eliza is just getting WAY too big. Can you slow it down a bit please? geesh! Fun times.
what a fun day! That is the best way to help time pass while your hubby is gone. Eliza is growing so fast...she looks SO much like her dad to me.
