Today we woke up to a beautiful day with no plans. We did a search online to find something to do and found the Dutch Wonderland webpage through the Hershey Park site. We had never heard of the park before but read through some reviews (4.5/5 stars) and decided to give it a try. The amusement park is aimed at ages 12 and under so we didn't have to deal with the language or attire that sometimes goes with the teen crowd at other parks. Also, Eliza was able to ride the majority of the rides so we had a pretty full day trying to get to all of the attractions that we wanted to see. Eliza's favorite rides were the train, carousel, and frog hopper. She also loved the giant slide that she went on three times with Brian and "The Frog Prince" diving show. 
The day was sunny and clear but windy when we left. We expected it to be a relatively warm day so we headed out in shorts and short sleeves. Unfortunately, Lancaster was a little chillier than Maryland so we ended up doing a little shopping at the outlet shops across from the park to get warmer clothes. The stores were awesome enough that we almost skipped going to Dutch Wonderland to spend more time shopping. We're glad we went to the park though because we had a great time.

Jamie, you got gypped on going on all the lame rides with Eliza. I think Brian either didn't take pics while you were on with her, or was a little greedy. That "fun slide" really looked fun!! :) Selfish Brian...
Nope, no pictures of me with Eliza on fun rides because they all had pregnancy warnings. I couldn't even go on the slide.

looks like fun! we were thinking of going there when we drove through PA but it wasn't open during the week then! :( Looks like fun and good to know it's the girls age-appropriate!
This looks like a great place! How were the snacks? Just kidding :) We went on Sunday to put flowers on graves for Memorial Day. On the way there, we were talking about the importance of remembering our service men and women. Daniel said, I'm thinking about Brian".
