Yesterday we went to watch a 300-mile off-road race in the eastern desert of Nevada. We met up with a bunch of my family (27 people in all) to watch motorcycles, quads, side-by-sides, dune buggies and trucks go racing by. We watched at the halfway point and had a fun time despite some cold wind. We had a cookout after the race and celebrated all of the May birthdays in attendance (6) with a yummy carrot cake.
