Simon - Nine Months

 

Stats: 

• Wt: 18#7oz, 16th percentile
• Ht: 28 1/2", 58th percentile
• Wt for Length: 16th percentile
• Head Circumference: 17 3/4", 43rd percentile
• Still has crooked pinkie fingers.
• Second toes are both shorter than the rest of his toes.
• Eats everything except Gerber brand spring vegetables and brown rice baby food. 
• Transitioning to table foods. 
• Can feed himself small bites using hands.
• Learning to drink from a cup.
• Has been crawling since he turned 8 months old.  Can crawl up stairs.
• Can pull to standing and cruise along furniture.
• No teeth yet.
• Sleeps through the night from about 8:30-7:30.  Most nights.
• Takes two naps during the day.  Each is about two hours.
• Very happy baby.  Easy to get to smile.
• Ticklish on thighs, sides, and neck.
• Likes to play in his jumper or on the outside of his exersaucer or walker.
• Starting to go through a separation anxiety phase, which is making gym time extra difficult.
