Brian came home in mid-August for his third, and final, R&R visit home. He leaves again tomorrow to finish up his 1+year tour in Iraq. We've had a great visit that I'll recap in the next few posts.
We visited The Lake in the Hills here in town to go swimming one day. It was kind of disappointing, but fun anyway. Our shade tent got blown over, though, causing it to snap in half in an unrepairable kind of way. It was the first time we'd used it. Oh well.
The same day we went to the lake, a fire started across the freeway from our house (it was probably about a half mile away, so not too close, but visible). The helicopter pulled water from the lake to help put out the fire.
We spent a few days with Brian's family and visited the Treehouse Museum in Ogden which Eliza loved. We also visited our good friends, the Chapmans, but don't have any pictures to prove it.

Eliza played a bear in a little production at the museum.
