We flew to Long Beach on Tuesday this past week and drove directly to our hotel, The Candy Cane Inn, which borders California Adventure and the area where they're building the new "Cars" attraction. We had 4-day tickets but didn't plan on spending too much time in California Adventure because all of the princesses (except Ariel's ride) are in Disneyland, and that's really all that Eliza wanted to see. We chose to spend the day that we arrived in California Adventure and had a great time. We rode most of the rides including The Tower of Terror (which Eliza hated, but chose to go on a second time so she could ride with Brian).
