Simon is now a month old and he has been doing really well. This past month flew by especially since we were enjoying time with Brian at home. During the month, we went back to the pediatrician to have Simon's breathing checked once more and he had another chest x-ray, which was clear. Besides this concern, he has not had any problems. He's still sleeping, eating and pooping a lot and Eliza still loves having him around. She'll come into my room in the morning, look at him sleeping and say "oh, he's so beautiful." It's really cute and I love that she's been so helpful with Brian gone.
We didn't go in for a checkup recently, but I know that he is over ten pounds now. He was 9 lbs 7 oz at the checkup 2 weeks ago so he's gaining weight really well. He still has a little dry umbilical cord piece, but most of it is gone now. Time to run...he's screaming for attention and I better go pick him up before Eliza attempts to get him to suck on her nose instead of his pacifier.
