Christmas 2010
We had a wonderful Christmas this year despite Brian being away for work. We used Skype to video chat while we opened presents, which wasn't as good as having him home, but it worked for this year. My parents and brother came over for Christmas morning for gift time and breakfast. This was the first year that Eliza really understood Santa Claus and she was really excited for her kitchen, which was the big gift she asked for. She's been talking about it for months and it was great being able to watch her happiness in receiving and playing with the kitchen. Simon had no idea what was going on, which is pretty normal for being 3 1/2 months old. All he wants is to eat, sleep and have a clean diaper. He had a fun day anyway and received some new toys from Santa. We had ham and cheese souffle roll and butterscotch bubbles for breakfast and then watched "Despicable Me". My family came back over for dinner and we had smoked salmon, baked potatoes, rolls, spinach salad, frog eye salad and egg nog cake with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. It was a food- and fun-filled day and would have only been better if Brian had been home. We feel blessed to celebrate the birth of our Savior now and always. Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm back from the dead! I love those pics... and of course all of you too. Merry Christmas!
I'm glad you had a good Christmas! I'm glad you were at least able to Skype with Brian. Logan wanted a kitchen too but it doesn't look anything like yours! Wow =)
