Happy Easter!

This is a recap of our multi-day Easter celebration...
  • Eliza had an Easter egg hunt with the two Sunbeam classes from church:
Eliza with her friend, Adele.
There really are other boys in the classes, but only one came to the egg hunt.  Lucky little guy!
  • We had an egg hunt at our house on Friday evening to beat the weekend rain storms:
Simon in one of his most common poses - grabbing for anything near him.
And now Simon in another common pose - anything within reach going into his mouth.  I have no idea why so many of these pictures are blurry or grainy - help anyone?
  • We had one more egg hunt at the city park.  A local fraternity puts it on every year and, once it starts, it's over in about 15 seconds.  Eliza picked up 8 eggs and didn't mind that she was walking past big piles.  She only wanted certain ones, which was fine by me since I didn't want any more candy!
  • Then we headed to Home Depot where Eliza built a bug house with some of her cousins.
  • And finally...the Easter Bunny visited our house and left some fun presents.
Simon was not feeling very good this day but he was a willing participant in sucking on his new shoes and tags on his clothes.
The coolest shoes!!  They are Robeez that are reversible.
Terrible picture, but it shows how Brian got to participate.  Simon was trying really hard to crawl to get to the screen.  That iPad 2 was my birthday gift from Brian this year.  It just came last week and it's awesome!
My mom and I made these dresses.  The one on the left is Eliza's Easter dress and the other one is just a fun dress.
Eliza and I went to church while my parents kept Simon home since he wasn't feeling well. It was a nice Sunday to remember the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

To Sydney (who always comments on our blog) and any other Jewish friends who read this- Kosher Passover to you!! Hope you had a wonderful week! :)

Great job on those dresses. They look fantastic! I have aspirations to someday be able to sew. Someday. :)
