Simon's First Haircut

Simon has been in need of a haircut for some time now, but we've been waiting for Brian to get home.  His hair was curly in the back and would get a little ratty by the end of the day plus he had "wings" of hair over his ears.  We found a kid's salon in Las Vegas after Brian flew home from Iraq and took Simon there to get his hair trimmed.  Eliza played in the Barbie Jeep next to Simon's Hummer and both kids seemed pretty happy to be there.  Simon was all over the place while the lady cut his hair, but she was obviously ready for his antics because she kept up with him.  His haircut turned out great and he looks like a little boy instead of a baby now.
Eliza showing off her driving skills as well as her new earrings.  She had her ears pierced a couple of weeks ago at her pediatrician's office.  She did fairly well with the process, but cried a little.

Eliza went to the bathroom while we were waiting for Simon to get done and she was gone a little longer than normal.  We found her in the dress-up room of the salon having a blast.

All done!
